Our first summer season has come and gone, and boy oh boy was it a good one! We loved being able to meet new people, and hope to see y’all again next year! From the Fourth of July – Labor Day Weekend, we had tons of fun in the sun and made great memories while we were at it! While there are lots of things we enjoyed about the summer season such as warm weather, here are some of our favorite things that took place this summer!
Opening day — July 4th
Camp Whitewater made it’s official debute on July 4th, 2018! We were so excited to share the beautiful scenery and relaxing atmosphere with all of our guests. Word quickly began to spread about Camp Whitewater and all of the fun, family-friendly activities we had to offer such as volleyball, tetherball, cornhole, and more!
Tubing on the Guadalupe River
This summer was a hot one! Our favorite way to beat the Texas heat is by tubing on the Guadalupe River. Camp Whitewater is conveniently located on the Guadalupe River Horseshoe, making it a great place to bring your tubes and have a relaxing day floating on the river with family and friends!
Making new memories
It was fun being able to see our guests make new memories with their family and friends! From tubing & playing in the Guadalupe River, to hanging out at one of our picnic sites, to playing different lawn games, Camp Whitewater offers the perfect family-friendly atmosphere!
Although we are sad to say “So long!” to this summer, we can’t wait for all of the good times to come next year! Stay tuned via our Facebook page for updates on Camp Whitewater and what’s to come in summer 2019!
